It is my opinion that a good book should be no less that 15 chapters long. Anything shorter just seems cruel. So it was with this book. It was well-written and an interesting story-line–but it was much too short–only 8 chapters! The characters and their interactions were great, but it felt like I was watching a romantic comedy/drama in fast forward. I wish I could say more, but my review would likely end up being longer than the book!
PS I noticed on error in the book: Mary Manners has one of the characters read from Romans, but says they are reading from chapter 2–actually it is chapter 12. I’m sure it was just an oversight.
Also, the cover is completely misleading.
