Here’s a great book geared toward pre-teen boys. In it, boys are challenged to make not just good choices, but the best choices. And the author is right in telling boys that it’s THEIR choice whether to choose to do things their way, or God’s way. And it’s not a “lecture” type of book; there are plenty of opportunities for boys to consider how to apply Bible verses to their lives (and write them down!). I think the author does a great job of walking them through these exercises…and he lets God speak for Himself (through the Bible).
I am certainly not a nine to eleven year old boy, but as a parent, I think this is a great tool to get guys thinking about the Bible, the fact that they have choices to make and that it is best to make REALLY GOOD ones.
Thank you to Net Galley (https://www.netgalley.com) and Harvest House Publishers for making an advance copy of this book available to me to read and review.
