“The Alaska Brides Collection” by Cathy Marie Hake, Mary Connealy, Kathleen Y’Barbo, and Janelle Jamison

Let several of my favourite authors help you find the romance of the Land of the Midnight Sun in these inspiring and thrilling tales.  There are five stories in all: three follow one family, and two another.  All of them teach the importance of God’s timing and His plan and paint a spectacular picture, not only of Alaska, but of God’s love.

I found it interesting that though the first three stories followed the same family, they were each written by a different author.  Having read other works by each of the authors, I could clearly see and enjoy their particular writing styles, but the characters flowed seamlessly from story to story.

The second set of stories I had already read separately and previously.  They were a joy to reread.  This author did a wonderful job making her stories both moving and historical.

It is important to note that all these stories have already been published under separate titles, but as a collection they fit well together.

Thanks to NetGalley (https://www.netgalley.com/) and Barbour Publishing for making a copy of this book available to me to read and review.
